You are not allowed to use any reference materials during the certification test (no access to online documentation or to any SAP system).

I want to say the layout of this book is in very poor quality, resolution of screenshots is bad

Passed this examination today and it helped me a lot. If you are going to take the same exam, then you must not miss this book. I found it is based on the content of SAP training courses SAPX03 and SAPX11, which is the source of the exam.

BUT, I want to say the layout of this book is in very poor quality, resolution of screenshots is bad, not clear (although question itself is more important to me), so many big block of empty space.

IN THE END, I found following errors in the book.
page 58, question 19
page 88 and 92, question 15 and 17 are the same
page 115, question 6
page 125, question 1
page 135, question 13
page 173, question 7

The question were wonderful and the answers very understandable!

I think this book provides a great study tool for information on SAP Fiori Implementation and Configuration. The questions are easy to understand and the instructions on how to answer, or how many correct answers there are, are clear. The progression of knowledge is set out for optimal studying for the person looking to take the certification test.

One thing in particular that I liked was the explanations provided with each question explaining what the correct answer, or answers, is/are. There is a narrative as to why the answers are correct and, often, a helpful diagram is provided for more detailed explanations. i think providing a diagram or graphic with the narrative really helps the person studying to be able to remember important details. It helps people that are more image orientated retain the information with more accuracy.

The second thing I liked is that the question will tell you how many correct answers there are to the question. While studying this is helpful, but it can have it's down side. The test might not tell you how many correct answers there are. Having the study guide do so could possibly be a crutch for some people.

One thing that I think this study guide could use is a brief introduction to what SAP Fiori Implementation and Configuration is. Even though the person studying to take the exam may have a general understanding, or maybe even an intimate understanding, it would be a welcome refresher to study the introduction and brief history of this certification along with the many technical aspects of the certification.

Overall, I think this is a wonderful study guide. It's simple to use and easy to understand. I think this is a great aid to have for anyone preparing to take the certification exam or wanting to brush up on their knowledge through a test-based environment.

This is a great resource!

Cathy Duffy runs a review website and I recently consulted it because I was unhappy with two of my resources. I ended up buying this book and I was so glad I did. In fact, I wished I had read it a long time ago. It wasn't just valuable because of the reviews, but also because it stepped me through teaching styles, learning styles, philosophies of schooling, etc. all the while helping me define my own situation and desires. Then, she shows you which resources she thinks will work best for your desires and rates them on things like prep time, teacher involvement, cost, etc. It really is a great resource!

Must for New Homeschoolers

There are as many ways to homeschool as there are homeschoolers. Duffy's book gives an overview of each of the most popular philosophies. She also provides provoking questions and an inventory to help you find where your family fits in. The curriculum review portion of the book is also a great place to start looking at curriculum, if you go that route. There are literally hundreds of choices -- sometimes hundreds just in one subject -- Duffy is a place to look at many of hte most popular. I think her book is perfect for most new homeschoolers because it's a book that gives you an overview of the philosophies. Then you can get to the internet to look more deeply into any that spur your interest.

LOVE this book

LOVE this book!! Before buying it, I spent many hours reading and researching curriculum and reviews. Even Cathy Duffy's website! This book is so much more than the title implies. I was hesitant to spend the money on the book, thinking it would just be more in-depth reviews than what her website had. But it's so much more! Ms. Duffy walks you through questions to figure out what your very own schooling philosophy is, set priorities, determine what your learning style is, what your children's learning styles are, and helps you put all that information together to figure out which curriculum could work for you and your family. This book has saved me so much time, helped me organize my thoughts, and simplified the curriculum decision for me. I am thanking God for this book right now!

About the Author

Eric Jensen is a former teacher and current member of the Society for Neuroscience and New York Academy of Sciences. He has taught at all levels, from elementary through university level and is currently completing his PhD in human development. In 1981, Jensen cofounded SuperCamp, the nation’s first and largest brain-compatible learning program, now with over 50,000 graduates. He has since written Teaching with the Brain in Mind, Brain-Based Learning, Deeper Learning, Arts with the Brain in Mind, Enriching the Brain, and 21 other books on learning and the brain. A leader in the brain-based movement, Jensen has made over 45 visits to neuroscience labs and interacts with countless neuroscientists. Get off the dead horse of "old school" education

To those seeking an outline of what education needs to practice so "no child is left behind" this book is a starting point about how people learn. The flow of the book is easy to follow and considers the research findings of how the brain learns in stages of life. Unlike those who consider brain research a "fad", I know from application of the knowledge in this book, the influential changes do produce positive results for students. In the world of "accountability" the tools of Brain Based teaching will allow students and teachers a solution in "leveling the field" for the students from less fortunate environments, which politicians are clueless about in regards the obstacles of "survivalists of poverty". I highly reccommend this book to those wishing to "get off the dead horse" and provide a productive environment for education in the 21st century.

Funny Advice for All Artists

We artists are a sensitive bunch. We don't respond well to helpful criticism, beat ourselves over the head when we fail at being original, hit frequent creative blocks, compare ourselves unfavorably with others, and generally have no friggin' idea if what we're doing feels right. Author/collage artist Danielle Krysa understands the ordeal all too well. Together with illustrator Martha Rich, she deals with all that messy painful stuff with cheer and good humor in her book Your Inner Critic Is a Big Jerk.

Although a lot of the advice in this book seems overly familiar and common sensical, it's actually a great comfort to read someone else's hacking out of these issues and offering tangible solutions. The book is organized in ten neat chapters, each one filled with personal anecdotes, testimonials from other artists, and fun, creativity-boosting exercises to break anyone of their creative funk. The workshops and cute illustrations seem geared more heavily toward young female artists still searching for their voice, although even a seasoned professional can glean a lot from Krysa's pragmatic, never-preachy tone. As a man in his '40s still struggling to get a foothold in the commercial illustration world, I could relate emphatically to much of Krysa's woes. The best advice of all? Just do something, anything!

Two thumbs up, you won't want to miss this one!

One of the best things about this series is both the world behind it and the progression the characters make as they navigate it. I love how every Remy thought she had things figured out, something new would come along or something would change throwing a wrench into things. Not only did this keep things interesting, but it only made me fall for Remy more as she continued to persevere and stand up for what she thought was right no matter the obstacle thrown in her path. And boy let me tell you there were some major obstacles this time around. Everything really came to a head, and I loved seeing it all come together one last time to blow things out of the park.

I'm not the biggest fan of love triangles. When they do pop up in books, generally I'm loyal to a core, choosing the first guy and sticking to him throughout. However, that wasn't the case here as I feel head over heels for Asher's brother, Gabe in the previous book. After Asher dies, Remy and Gabe become very close and you can see how much he cares for her, but things never move past just "closeness" as Remy's still hurting so much from her loss. I understood that and loved Gabe all the more for not rushing things. But of course at the end the rug got ripped out from under me when it turned up Asher wasn't gone after all. Don't get me wrong, his death was devastating, but the author handled the healing and transition to Gabe so well that I wanted only Gabe for her. Unfortunately IGNITED opens up with the love triangle in full force as Remy and Asher try to reconcile who they were and who they are now, with Gabe mixed in there too, leaving me more than a little frustrated. It was painfully obvious things were more than over between the two of them, as Asher just couldn't cope with her making him human. Gabe on the other hand never once faltered, and I have to admit wanting to yell at Remy more than a few times to wake up and see. But don't get me wrong, I do think the whole situation was handled very very well from a writing stand point as it was very realistic and there wasn't any sudden changing of feelings. A definite win in my book.

It's always bittersweet to say goodbye to a series I've loved, but I do enjoy it when that series ends with a good send out. One where you close the book on a sigh of contentment, and that definitely was the case here. Would I have wanted more from this series and world? Sure, as it's really well written and the characters suck you right in. But despite my wish for more, I'm very satisfied with the way things turned out and want to give the author major kudos for doing a great job pleasing this very hard to satisfy with endings reader. a great conclusion to the series

Overall, a great conclusion to the series!

I love Remy. She's a character that has a great balance of strong and vulnerable. Too often heroines in these types of books are either super emotionally weak or they're ridiculously strong. I find myself frustrated because they either collapse in on themselves or they shrug things off way too easily. Remy is someone I feel for and enjoy reading her story. Though she's in a fantasy world, her struggles feel real and endearing.

The shifting dynamics between her and the two heroes was well done. In this book, we see how Asher's torture at the hands of Franc has changed him and how it effects his and Remy's relationship and the repercussions for them and for Gabe. I have to say that Asher fell dramatically in my opinion, while Gabe stole my heart away...and yes, I realize how ridiculous it is to say that about fictional character, but he did!

The plot moved a little slow in the middle of the book. This story focuses on Remy and her group trying to rescue her dad, Ben, but they do spend a lot of time sitting around waiting for things to happen. While mostly this time was filled with great character development (which I loved!), there were times when it lagged a bit. I loved the ending. Jackson spent quite a bit of time winding down the story and it really worked in this series. It gives a great sense of closure without everything being wrapped up in a cute little bow as they all ride off into the sunset. It feels like they've reached a moment of peace and bliss and have been able to assure themselves some peace, but there are still a lot of issues in the air and sadness. I liked it because it gave time to show the characters dealing with the fallout of the final climax, rather than just immediately ending the story.

The mythology was a little more convoluted in this book. It introduces a new concept--the Pheonix. It was a little bizarre and I'm not entirely sure it really fits in well with the rest of the story. It felt a little tacked on, unnecessary, and a bit inconsistent. It made it sound as though only a Pheonix could heal a Protector's immortality and the Healer-Protector hybrids could only do it with someone they bonded to, but there are many times where Remy was able to heal the senses of Protectors without being bonded. And I think the idea of the Protector's immortality was a bit inconsistent. It was made to sound as though the Protectors had superhuman abilities pre-immortality (not as strong as after attaining immortality, but strong none-the-less), but when they start getting healed by Remy, they turn into normal humans and lose things like the mind-connection bond and their speed and strength. It didn't make much sense.

All that aside, I loved the series and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even with the few little issues here and there, I really enjoyed it. It's cute, dramatic, and really fun all at the same time.

Thrilling Conclusion to a Fabulously Original Series

In this exciting finale, Ignited will captivate fans and have them rushing to see the conclusion of their favorite characters. Ms. Jackson takes readers on a thrill ride that they never want to leave. This book picks up several months after Pushed ended. Asher, Lucy, and Remy are on the run, trying to avoid being captured by Remy's grandfather, Franc, but also trying to find her and Lucy's father. Things take a turn for the worse between Asher and Remy, and things do not look good for them in the beginning of the book. Asher is clearly hiding something, as he won't talk to Remy, and he is extremely distant. What does this mean for Asher and Remy? Will they find her father? Will Remy give her grandfather what he wants, and give herself over? Well, you'll have to read to find out, but every one of those questions is answered by the end of the story.

One of my favorite aspects of this story is the characters. Remy has always been an extremely strong, kick-butt character, but in both Pushed and this novel, she shows a remarkable growth. She learns that it's okay to ask others for help, and that she isn't all alone. Remy learns that it's okay to let people in, and sometimes you have to let others go. Finally, she realizes she can't take on every single problem, because she's only one person. Comparing the Remy of this book to the Remy in the Touched is simply amazing, and shows how gifted Ms. Jackson is with her writing. She has created a complex character that shows true growth in a realistic manner. Not a character that instantly changes everything about herself because of a certain person or event. Asher, who I loved in Touched kind of got on my nerves in this one. If he would have talked things out with Remy, instead of pushing her away, I feel like they could have sorted things out earlier on. Gabe, who I fell in love with in Pushed, really took center stage in this novel. I loved how he interacted with Remy, and he truly compliments her in every way. In the second book in this series, I was still rooting for Asher and Remy, but by the end of the second book, Gabe had wormed his way into my heart. Because of this, throughout Ignited, I wanted Gabe and Remy to be together. They have many cute moments, and I loved every single scene with them together.

The writing in this book is phenomenal, and the world that Ms. Jackson has created is simply mind-blowing. It's completely unique and very refreshing to read. Every fight scene is executed perfectly, and the heartbreaking moments are tear-inducing. There is a lot of action in this book, and with all that action and danger, some characters pay the ultimate price, and don't make it out alive. There is one death in particular that is very moving and tear-jerking. I was very sad to see this character go, but it was a very touching scene, nonetheless.

This is a definite must read for fans of the Sense Thieves series. You will not be disappointed by the ending, as it will leave you with a smile on your face. I absolutely loved this entire series, and I will be re-reading these books for years to come. Add this to your TBR list now! Happy reading :)

Missed the mark a bit, although still worth reading after "Dementia for Dummies."

So wanted to give this new book a 5-star rating, but it was clear after a cover-to-cover reading that they rushed this to market, jamming their old U.S. version (plain "Alzheimer's for Dummies") together with their U.K. version ("Dementia for Dummies"). This new one has multiple typo's, missing sidebar text, and more. But, the main reason for not fully loving this newest release are the constant (and mainly confusing) interchangeable references they use between Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Dementia. A point for them to maintain in their next edition with greater clarity throughout the book is that, AD is a type of Dementia, not the other way around.

The bottom-line... even though a few years old, the aforementioned "Dementia for Dummies," Dementia For Dummies - UK is much better at giving you a firm foundation, it's their bigger worldview edition. You can still find it online and we'd suggest you start with it (even if you buy both at the same time). Then, once you are grounded, you can pick up this latest release and ignore the AD confusion, and instead focus on the good stuff: great insight on legal and finance, making medical decisions, care planning, in-home services, and considerations for long-term care, etc.

David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. is Director of the Institute for Advanced Spiritual Research. He is a widely known authority within the fields of consciousness research and spirituality. He writes and teaches from the unique perspective of an experienced clinician, scientist, and mystic. He has been knighted and honored worldwide with titles such as “Foremost Teacher of Enlightenment” and “Boddhisattva.” His background is detailed in Who’s Who in the World. Hawkins books are there for you when you are ready

Otherwise they will make no sense, or else be grossly misinterpreted. He himself states time and time again that nothing at one level of consciousness is true at another. How can one even *attempt* to explain the unexplainable and succeed on any level unless the consciouness that is reading is quite fertile and ready? The Truth that Hawkins teaches is so incredibly radical and direct that the 'person' submits and the ego dissolves, or else that person goes into paradigm shock and denies it, or just dismisses it as strange dogmatic baloney.
I truly believe that books on this level of Power find the right people through synchronicity when they are ready to receive it. If you are not at the stage of spiritual evolution to surrender *all*, and I mean *all* beliefs and positionalities than Hawkins works are likely to anger and confuse you. This is obviously evidenced by certain reviews of his works.
He himself warns of this in his prefaces, that his works are only meant for the extremely dedicated spirtual seeker willing to surrender all thoughts, desires, and positionalities to God.

I am not a brilliant book reviewer...

I am an atheist objectivist who picked up this book at random in the psychology section of the library when the book I wanted was out. I took it home without even cracking the cover, because the minimalist title intrigued me. I quickly devoured the book like it was a morsel of food to a starving person, despite 'God' being sprinkled through it like salt. Here is how I was affected even before the completion of my first pass:

1) I began letting go of 'mind' and felt lighter as I navigated my complex work environment.

2) I became simply 'the body' and experienced the sensation of walking on air. My entire countenence changed for the positive and I began 'floating' with calm success through otherwise tedious and stressful situations.

3) I began to approach and treat my pets and all human acquaintences as though they were my 'self'. Now, when seek and find 'self' in other's eyes, the feeling between us changes to a calm unity (love). All tension vanishes.

4) It became clear to me that some strange 'enlightening' experiences, such as the day I spontaneously and without warning 'lost God' (abandoned the strict organized religion I grew up in), were not due to the rationality of my mind, but were simply an acknowledgement of truth.

5) I realized that a set of 'rules to live by' I wrote and embraced when I was 22 (and subsequently dismissed as unsophisticated and naive in later years) was actually an awakening to truth.

It may not be possible to fully realize the potential awakenings of this book in the space of a mortal life. I find myself in a 'spiral' reading pattern, reading from beginning to end repeatedly, picking up momentum and comprehension with each revolution. I may never finish.

Stunning clarity

In some broad, general sense, this book should be considered philosophy or theology. It gives what can reasonably be considered a comprehensive discussion of human consciousness, from the most rudimentary human awareness to the status of great enlightened masters. While it does stand alone as a complete work, it is the third of Dr. Hawkin's trilogy on consciousness, the first volume being Power vs. Force and the second being Eye of the I. It is useful to read the books in order, but it is useful to read this book, either in order or out of order.
As a mathematician, I really do enjoy reading good math texts. They teach me something, and I can go away from a session (perhaps an arduous session) with the ability to work new problems. That is delightful, a real joy. Very frequently, I have wished for an "engineering theology" text. By that I mean that I would like to study---perhaps hard---and walk away with the ability to improve my life in some way. Many of the great mystic writers are very impenetrable for me. They wax poetic, and I have no way to apply their great ideas to my own situation. Like Faust, I can say, "There stand I now, poor stupid me, and I'm just as smart as I used to be." That is very frustrating. Perhaps the most accessible of the mystic teachers is St. John of the Cross. After many years of study, even his simple lessons still elude me. I have not yet "caught the wave."
Dr. Hawkins explains the entire spectrum of consciousness, right up to enlightenment itself, in a way that is entirely understandable for many people, and certainly for anyone who wants to study hard. His approach is hardly a workbook, but it does contain enormous numbers of very practical ideas to help any person to improve. That may not be every person's goal, but it is my goal. If I didn't want to do better, I would not bother reading a book. I'd go hit tennis balls or something else. This book seems more than just sophisticated. It seems exceedingly sophisticated, and at a high level indeed. I cannot say that I have encountered a higher level (that I could recognize). Yet it is understandable and even offers very significant tests most people could do in order to verify its validity. For me, at least, it is a great lesson indeed, and I am reading it over and over again.

About the Author
Dr. Thomas Sonnabend is currently in his 17th year teaching mathematics at Montgomery College. He recently developed an expanded program of three mathematics courses for elementary teachers that began during the 2002-2003 school year. He has done in-service work with elementary school teachers and has taught grades five and nine-twelve in New York City. Having published over 23 book reviews in the MATHEMATICS TEACHER, two articles "Calculus Reform: An Interview with Tom Sonnabend" and "Cooperative Learning in Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers," as well as the previous editions of MATHEMATICS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS. Dr. Sonnabend is a trusted and well-established academic and was named the Maryland College Teacher of the Year for 2001 by the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics. He was also listed in the 1996 edition of MEN OF ACHIEVEMENT.
